What Is Maximum Estimated Size Of Hail?

A radar estimate of the largest hailstones a storm is likely producing. In technical terms: A WSR-88D algorithm product that converts a reflectivity-weighted, temperature-weighted vertical integration of reflectivity above the freezing level (Severe Hail Index) into an estimated maximum hail diameter, usually displayed in inches or millimeters.
