A boundary between warm and cold air that is barely moving, which can bring days of cloudy, wet weather. In technical terms: A front whose position changes little over time (generally moving under about 5 kt), with winds on both sides roughly parallel to the boundary; drawn as alternating red semicircles and blue triangles on opposite sides.
