What Is Psychrometer?
A humidity instrument with two thermometers, one kept wet. Evaporation cools the wet one, and the difference tells how dry the air is. In technical terms: A hygrometer made of paired dry-bulb and wet-bulb thermometers ventilated at about 3 m per s or more (e.g., a sling psychrometer); the wet-bulb depression is converted to dew point and relative humidity using psychrometric tables.
