What Is Relative Humidity?
How close the air is to being saturated, as a percentage. 100% means the air can't hold any more water vapor at that temperature. In technical terms: The ratio, in percent, of the actual vapor pressure to the saturation vapor pressure at the same temperature (approximately the ratio of mixing ratio to saturation mixing ratio).
