A vertical profile of the atmosphere, showing temperature, moisture, and wind from the ground up, usually from a weather balloon. In technical terms: A measurement or model-derived profile of atmospheric variables with height, typically from a radiosonde, plotted on a thermodynamic diagram and hodograph to assess stability, moisture, and shear.
